At Well-being Practice, we provide trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming allied health services that empower individuals across the lifespan. Based on the Gold Coast, our mobile and clinic-based practice offers Occupational Therapy, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Lifestyle Medicine, and Group Therapy Programs for NDIS participants and those seeking holistic mental health and wellbeing support.

Occupational Therapy
Supporting children, adolescents, and adults with mental health challenges, neurodevelopmental conditions, and psychosocial disability.
Gold Coast OT services include:
Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) & Support Needs Assessments for NDIS access and plan reviews
Mental health occupational therapy for trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation
Sensory and neurocognitive assessments (e.g. ADHD, Autism, psychosocial disability)
Support with daily living skills, self-care routines, school/work participation, and emotional regulation
NDIS report writing, goal development, and Functional Behaviour Support (PBS)
Assistive technology and home modification recommendations
Early intervention OT for children with Autism, ADHD, GDD, and developmental trauma
Body-based OT modalities including interoception, breathwork, and trauma-informed yoga

Breathwork, grounding, and mindfulness practices

Lifestyle Medicine (Allied Health)
Occupational therapy-informed support for mental and physical health using evidence-based lifestyle interventions.
Our lifestyle medicine services include:
Coaching around sleep, movement, nutrition, routines, rest, and connection
Practical strategies to manage fatigue, burnout, and mental health challenges
Personalised, achievable habit changes for people living with psychosocial disability, chronic illness, or ASD/ADHD
Ideal for NDIS participants, carers, and people managing stress-related conditions

Group Therapy Programs
Therapeutic and skills-based groups for children, teens, and adults to foster social connection and wellbeing.
Group programs may focus on:
Social skill development and emotional regulation for neurodivergent individuals
Creative expression, DBT-informed skills, and peer support for mental health recovery
Mindfulness-based movement, including trauma-informed yoga groups
Suitable for capacity building, community participation, and self-management goals

Our journey begins with a 1 to 1.5-hour consultation to:
Establish therapeutic rapport
Explore your life history, strengths, and current challenges
Begin meaningful goal setting and planning
Determine assessment needs and service frequency
Session Frequency
Your session schedule is planned collaboratively. Options include:
Weekly
Fortnightly
Flexible / as-needed (determined by capacity, goals, and individual preference)
We aim to support autonomy and consistency while remaining adaptable to your life.
Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA)
If you're seeking a Functional Capacity Assessment for NDIS, the process involves:
Assessment Consultation:
1.5 to 2 hours (gather background, complete standardised assessments, and collaboratively explore recommendations)Report Writing:
Typically requires 4–10 hours, depending on complexity and the level of detail needed by the NDIS or referring body.
