Why Group Programs?
WHAT MAKES GROUP WORK DIFFERENT?
Every group is built around practical tools you can use immediately.
Real skills, real life
There's something that happens in a well-held group that can't happen 1:1 — shared experience, recognition, and genuine connection.
Learn from each other
Our groups are deliberately small so everyone feels seen, heard, and safe.
Small & intentional
You don't have to share anything you're not ready to share. You can participate in the way that feels right for you.
No pressure to perform

WELLBEING SKILLS GROUP
WHAT IT IS
The Skills Collective is a structured DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) skills group for adults. DBT is one of the most evidence-based approaches for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and building a meaningful life — and this group makes those skills practical, accessible, and real.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Teens (12-17) and Adults (18+) who experience intense emotions, patterns that feel hard to shift, difficulties in relationships, or who live with BPD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, or neurodivergent traits. You don't need a diagnosis — just a willingness to show up.
FORMAT AND TIMING
Fortnightly group sessions, twice weekly, of approximately 60- 90 minutes. Starting July 2025. Small group size to ensure everyone feels safe and heard. Delivered in-clinic at our Southport space.
WHAT YOU’LL BUILD
Each session focuses on one practical skill area. Skills are taught, practised in group, and designed to carry directly into your daily life — not stay in the therapy room.

THE ART OF WELLBEING
YOUNG CREATIVES
A safe, expressive space for young people to explore identity, emotions, and connection through art-making. No art experience needed — this is about the process, not the product. Sessions are gentle, structured, and led with adolescent development and trauma-awareness in mind.
ADULT CREATIVES
A warm, non-judgmental group for adults to explore emotional wellbeing through creative expression. Art therapy approaches are used to support self-reflection, processing, and connection — in a space that moves at your pace. No artistic experience or ability required.
FORMAT AND TIMING
Fortnightly sessions of approximately 90 minutes. Teen and adult streams run separately. Starting July 2025 in-clinic at Southport. All materials provided.
WHAT YOU’LL BUILD
Each session uses a different creative medium or prompt to explore a theme of emotions, identity, relationships, belonging, and change. Art-making is used as a tool for reflection and expression, supported by skilled facilitation and gentle group discussion.
